Since 1936 Amadio Wines has prided itself on producing premium quality wines vintage after vintage. It all started when Giovanni Amadio decided to commercially register his dry table wine after years of making it for family and friends.
In 1985 Giovanni’s son, Gaetano, bravely utilised his passion for winemaking by investing time and money into planting his first vineyard in the pristine cool climate of the Adelaide Hills. His visions for the region and diligent work lead to his premium wines gracing the tables of restaurants and households throughout the world.
The winemaking generation now continues with his son Danniel Amadio who aptly named the Amadio range of wines. Sourcing his premium fruit from the family’s Adelaide Hills vineyard, Danniel maintains limited case production of every wine range to ensure hands-on production standards, honouring family custom.
